Real Madrid have announced that they have reached an agreement with English club Fulham for the transfer of young midfielder Manuel Angel to the London club during the current summer transfer window.
Fulham's signing of Angel came at the direct request of their Spanish coach, Alvaro Arbeloa, the former Real Madrid star and their coach until the end of last season before taking over in England.
Angel thus becomes the third player to join Arbeloa's squad from Real Madrid this summer, after Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios.
Manuel Angel joined Real Madrid's academy in 2018 at the age of fourteen, progressing through its age groups over eight seasons.
The player had a distinguished career with the youth teams, culminating in the Spanish King's Cup Youth title in 2022, then the historic treble (league, King's Cup and UEFA Youth League) with the under-19 team in the 2022-2023 season, before making his first appearance with the first team of the Royal Club this year.
