"Six months after the implementation of the Tunas PP, we recorded a total of 28 million Indonesian children's accounts now protected from various risks," said Meutya in a press conference at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Office.
Meutya stated that the Roblox platform had made progressive changes during the initial implementation phase of the Tunas PP to comply with the Tunas PP.
"The one that has made the most progressive changes is Roblox, which has developed and implemented a number of child protection feature modifications that were initially implemented specifically in Indonesia and have a direct impact on users," he explained.
Roblox has implemented a classification mechanism based on user age groups and moved 23 million child accounts to dedicated Roblox Kids accounts.
Additionally, Roblox introduces age estimation technology using facial recognition and removes communication features that allow child accounts to communicate with accounts belonging to unknown people.
