Indonesian mixed doubles pair Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah are confident they can overcome the competition at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games with new coach Nova Widianto.

"Coach Nova's training program is very detailed and requires us to increase our speed. Personally, Amri and I feel that the program he's given us suits us," said Nita Violina Marwah at the PBSI National Training Center Media Day event.
He said that under the tutelage of Coach Nova, he and his teammates underwent very intensive training for the Asian Games. He also felt he had a better understanding of the correct playing style and patterns.
"For example, when Amri finishes hitting like this, I have to know where to go and how to guard him. So now our teamwork is stronger," he said.
Furthermore, Nita said that although both of them will be appearing for the first time or debuting at the Asian Games, both bring a lot of confidence after winning bronze medals at the 2026 BWF World Championships.
