The first half ended in a 2-2 draw, with Brazil opening the scoring through Vanderson in the third minute, before Alessandro Cercati equalized for Australia in the 28th minute, then Conor Metcalfe gave Australia the lead in the 33rd minute, before Rafinha leveled the score for Brazil from a penalty kick in the last minute of the half.
Rafinha was forced to leave the match at the start of the second half due to muscle pain.
In the second half, Brazil scored two goals through Bruno Guimarães in the 69th minute and Vinicius Junior in the 89th minute from a penalty kick.
This was the second encounter between the two teams after their 1-1 draw last Friday.
This is Brazil's second match after their disappointing participation in the 2026 World Cup, in which they were eliminated in the round of 16 after losing 1-2 to Norway.
The match comes as part of Australia’s preparations for the Asian Cup tournament, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia early next year, where they were drawn into Group D alongside Iraq, Singapore and Tajikistan.
