British forces have, for the first time, launched a heavy torpedo from a 12-meter-long unmanned submarine, according to the iPaper newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the drone test was conducted in cooperation with the United States as part of AUKUS's partnership with Australia. The torpedo was launched in British waters.
The newspaper reported, "For the first time, the two countries (Britain and the United States) launched a torpedo from an unmanned underwater vehicle, not a manned submarine."
