Indonesia is exploring lessons learned from India in building a digital public infrastructure that can connect identity, data, payments, and various public services within a single ecosystem.
India's experience serves as a reference for Indonesia in preparing the foundation for various public services to run in an integrated manner.
"Indonesia has a similar need for robust public digital infrastructure, and we are currently working on it," said Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar during an audience with Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Sandeep Chakravorty at the Ministry of Communication and Digital's office.
Nezar believes India's experience in building Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) is relevant for Indonesia to learn from.
According to him, cooperation between the two countries can be followed up through various concrete programs after the meeting of the leaders of the two countries.
