Indonesian energy companies make their debut at the Taiyuan exhibition

An Indonesian delegation participated for the first time in the China International Energy Industry Exhibition  held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, to introduce the potential of the national energy industry and open up opportunities for cooperation with Chinese energy companies.

The exhibition marked the Indonesian delegation's first appearance at the International Energy Industry Exhibition in Taiyuan.

Led by the Indonesian Coal Mining Association and the Indonesian Mining Services Association, the delegation brought together 12 leading Indonesian energy companies, showcasing their achievements in coal mining, mining services, and energy transition, creating a new platform for Shanxi and Southeast Asia to deepen cooperation in the energy sector.

The Indonesian exhibition carried the theme "Deepening China-Indonesia Energy Cooperation and Promoting Green Transformation and Development."

Member companies of the participating associations account for more than 90 percent of Indonesia's coal production and 85 percent of coal mining services in the country.

Ten industry leaders, including Adaro, Bayan Resources were also represented, covering the entire industrial chain from contract mining, coal production, and port logistics to commodity trading and energy transition.

Indonesia is a major coal-producing country with abundant coal resources, while there is still room for further improvement in mining technology and intelligent equipment.

As one of China's major energy-producing provinces, Shanxi has been steadily advancing its energy revolution and the green and low-carbon transformation of traditional energy industries in recent years.

The province has developed a number of competitive technologies and products in various fields, including smart mining, smart equipment, and clean coal utilization. The presence of the Indonesian delegation in Taiyuan provides a valuable opportunity for Indonesian energy companies to learn about Chinese energy technologies and explore potential partners.

The exhibition features three main sections, namely achievements, comprehensive displays, and professional exhibitions, as well as 10 exhibition areas, including energy transition and development.
