Israeli Zionist authorities have revoked the diplomatic status of Dutch diplomats serving in Ramallah in retaliation for the European Union government's policy of banning trade with illegal Zionist settlers in the West Bank.
At the end of July, the Dutch government announced a ban on imports of products originating from illegal Israeli settlements, which came into effect.
"After that deadline, the diplomatic privileges and immunities granted to them by Israel will officially end," he continued.
The illegal settlement construction activities by the Zionist authorities in the West Bank region are still a major source of controversy in the eyes of the international community and the Palestinian Government.
The Palestinian people consider this action as a strategy by the Zionist authorities to strengthen their efforts to colonize their land.
Previously, at the end of May, the European Union also imposed sanctions on a number of individuals and organizations proven to be involved in violations of the rights of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, which are closely related to Israeli settlement activities in the region.
