Indonesian weightlifter Juliana Klarisa ranked 10th in the women's 53 kg class at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games after posting a total lift of 184 kg at the Nagoya City Trade and Industry Center.

Juliana recorded a best lift of 80 kg in the snatch and 104 kg in the clean and jerk to place 10th out of 13 lifters who participated in the class.
In the snatch, Juliana opened the competition by successfully lifting 78 kg. She then failed on her second attempt with 80 kg, but managed to complete the lift on her third attempt.
She then began the clean and jerk, successfully lifting 100 kg. After failing her second attempt at 104 kg, Juliana improved on her final lift to secure a total of 184 kg.
The 53 kg class competition was dominated by North Korean lifter Kang Hyon Gyong who won gold with a total lift of 223 kg, consisting of a snatch of 99 kg and a clean and jerk of 124 kg.
Chinese lifter Zhao Jinlan won silver with a total of 218 kg, while the bronze went to Surodchana Khambao of Thailand who recorded a total of 214 kg.
Juliana became the second Indonesian female lifter to compete today. Previously, Luluk Diana Tri Wijayana won bronze in the women's 49 kg class after lifting a total of 191 kilograms.
