Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has chosen Spaniard David Silva as the best player he has ever played alongside, surpassing big names he has played with during his career.
Isaac told Sky Sports: "I've played alongside Zlatan, Mohamed Salah and Van Dijk, but David Silva is truly an exceptional player."
According to the "Transfermarkt" website, Isak and Silva played together in 51 matches wearing the Real Sociedad jersey, where their cooperation was directly fruitful in three goals scored by Isak after Silva provided the decisive pass for all three goals.
They met in La Liga, Europa League and Copa del Rey matches during Silva's time at Real Sociedad, before Isak left the club in the summer of 2022 for Newcastle United.
As for Mohamed Salah, he played alongside Isaac in 14 matches with Liverpool, and those encounters took place during the 2025-2026 season, the season that saw Isaac arrive at Anfield in a record deal from Newcastle before the Egyptian star left the club at the end of last season and joined Trabzonspor of Turkey.
Isak joined Liverpool on September 1, 2025 from Newcastle United, in a deal worth £125 million, making the Swedish striker the number 9 at Anfield on a long-term contract.
