Samsung has begun promoting its new Galaxy A18, which it will offer at a relatively low price to compete with the best mid-range Android phones.
The phone has a water and dust resistant body according to the IP64 standard, its dimensions are (164.4/77.9/7.7) mm, and it weighs 196 g.
Its screen came as a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of (1080/2340) pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a density of approximately 385 pixels/inch, and it was protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer that is resistant to shocks and scratches.
The device runs on Android-17, with an Exynos 1610 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64/128/256GB of internal storage, expandable via microSDXC chips.
Its main camera is a triple-lens camera with a resolution of (50+5+2) megapixels, including a macro lens and an ultrawide lens, and its front camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels.
Samsung also equipped it with two SIM card slots, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, an NFC chip, a fingerprint scanner, satellite positioning systems, and a 5000 mAh battery that works with a 25W fast charger.
