He believes the President has his own considerations and criteria for the most appropriate person to carry out the vision and mission. Suahasil was appointed Minister of Finance on Monday, replacing Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
"The President will certainly have his own considerations and criteria in determining the Minister of Finance who is deemed most appropriate to carry out the President's vision, mission, and assignments," Dolfie.
According to him, Prabowo, as Head of State, has the right to reshuffle his cabinet. He also fully entrusted the appointment of Suahasil as Minister of Finance, his working partner in Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
In principle, he requested that the figure chosen by the President be able to carry out the government's duties in overseeing improvements to the country's economy in the future.
"The replacement of the Minister of Finance is also part of the President's authority in determining the cabinet," he said.
