Mourinho's comments came after Real Madrid's 4-1 victory over Sevilla on Sunday in a Spanish league match.

The match witnessed a major controversy in the 22nd minute, after Sevilla players demanded that Guillermo be sent off following a clash with Pique Fernandez, claiming he had struck Guillermo with his elbow away from the ball.

After reviewing the situation via video technology, the referee did not show the red card, allowing the Turkish player to continue on the field and later score the opening goal, which intensified the controversy after the match.

The Portuguese coach expressed his surprise at the demands to show the red card to the Turkish star, stressing that he himself searched for the controversial incident, but did not find anything to prove the accusations against his player.

Mourinho said during the press conference: "An elbow strike from Arda Guler? Show me one clip that proves it, one clear picture of what is being said."

"I personally requested to see the footage, and so far I haven't seen anything anywhere." Mourinho revealed his conversation with Guillermo after the match, explaining that the player categorically denied elbowing his opponent.

The Portuguese coach added that he is prepared to publicly admit that Guler deserved to be sent off if clear photographic evidence emerges before his next press conference in the Spanish league, scheduled for Saturday.

He explained: "Arda told me clearly that he never elbowed him. If anyone can produce a real video by Saturday proving that he did so, I will come out and say in front of everyone that it was a deserved red card. I have no problem with that, but up to this moment I have not seen anything."
