Chicago Bulls sign Jordan Hawkins to a two-way contract

Chicago Bulls signed Jordan Hawkins to a two-way contract after the player spent his first three seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies.
The NBA  deal resulted in the release of Isaiah Stevens to bring in Hawkins for the 2026-2027 NBA season.
The guard has appeared in 174 NBA games, including 20 starts, averaging eight points per game (ppg), 2.3 rebounds per game and one assist per game in 18.2 minutes per game.

The 14th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft had a career-best season in 2024-25. He averaged 10.8 points per game, 604 points, and 110 three-pointers, matching his best with 2.8 rpg.

The basketball player has also recorded 15 games with at least 20 points and two games with 30 or more points throughout his career. His career-high performance came with a 34-point performance against the Dallas Mavericks.

Prior to his NBA career, Hawkins played for the University of Connecticut for two seasons, from 2021 to 2023. He helped the Huskies win the NCAA Championship in 2023.

During his collegiate career, Hawkins averaged 11.8 points per game , three points per game , and one point per game  in 23.2 minutes. Hawkins was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team in 2021-2022, as well as the All-Big East First Team, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and NCAA Tournament All-Region Team in 2022-2023.

Meanwhile, after confirming his joining the Chicago Bulls, Jordan Hawkins will wear the number 15 jersey. In addition, the Bulls now have three players with two-way contracts, namely Tobe Awaka, Hawkins, and Jaylin Sellers.
