"This Riders Parade is a momentum for us to bring the MotoGP spirit closer to the community, especially the people of Mataram City and West Nusa Tenggara," said Troy Warokka, Chairman of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026.
Troy said the public is not only expected to witness the racers competing at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, but also to experience the MotoGP atmosphere firsthand ahead of the series of races on October 9-11.
Besides Marc Marquez, the parade was attended by Fabio Di Giannantonio, Franco Morbidelli, Marco Bezzecchi, Brad Binder, and Moto3 racer Maximo Quiles.
Two Indonesian racers, Mario Aji and Veda Ega Pratama, also took part in the event. Their presence garnered public attention as they represented Indonesia in the world racing championship.
Along the parade route, the racers were greeted by the public and treated to various cultural attractions. After arriving at Udayana Park, the event continued with a fan meet-and-greet, traditional games, a Gendang Beleq performance, and merchandise distribution.
