Vinicius's value has seen a significant decline from 200 million euros in December 2024 to 150 million euros currently, after recording only 170 million euros last June, reflecting his loss of a large part of his luster and market value.
Blasio, who is responsible for market assessments in the Spanish League within Transfermarkt, explained that this decline is due to two main factors: firstly, the player not winning the Ballon d'Or despite the outstanding performance he has delivered for a long time, and secondly, the changes that have occurred in the Real Madrid coaching staff, which have led to reducing his role within the team.
Palacio pointed out that Vinicius' level continues to decline despite extending his contract with Real Madrid weeks ago, stressing that the player was a key element in many of the club's successes over the past years.
Vinicius Junior has scored just one goal in his first eight games for Real Madrid this season, one of his worst scoring starts since joining the club, and Vinicius himself has admitted he needs to get back to his best form.
