The newspaper "SPORT" reported on Tuesday that Rafinha will extend his current contract, which runs until 2029, for an additional season, keeping him within the walls of the Catalan club until the summer of 2030.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Rafinha has already signed the new contract and that Barcelona will officially announce the renewal next Friday.
Rafinha was linked with a move away from Barcelona last summer after receiving "tempting offers" from the Saudi league, but the Brazilian's priority was always to stay at "Camp Nou".
Rafinha is having a remarkable season so far with Barcelona, both in terms of goalscoring and performance, especially with his change of position from winger to center forward.
Rafinha managed to score 14 goals and provide 3 assists, meaning he contributed to 17 goals in just 8 games with Barcelona.
