According to the Spanish network Cadena SER and the newspaper AS, Dani Carvajal is close to moving to the Spanish club Getafe.
It was reported that Carvajal offered his services to Getafe to join them this season.
She stated that Getafe is interested in the deal and already has empty spots in the team's roster. They also have an opportunity in the wage budget, which allows them to register with La Liga.
She explained that the biggest challenge to completing the deal is obtaining approval and authorization from La Liga. Getafe's management is seriously discussing the Carvajal option with the coach and his staff.
She concluded by saying that talks between the two sides are ongoing and progressing, but nothing has been officially decided or signed yet.
Carvajal left Real Madrid after his contract expired last season and became a free agent, and has not been able to join any club so far.
Dani Carvajal spent 13 seasons with Real Madrid, during which he won 27 titles, including the historic treble he won under the leadership of Zinedine Zidane.
