The Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation is sending seven national team athletes to Chile to take part in the final round of the 2026 World Climbing Championships, the World Climbing Championships in Santiago, on October 23-25.

PP FPTI Secretary General Wahyu Pristiawan Buntoro hopes the athletes will be able to perform optimally in the closing series, so they have the opportunity to improve their world ranking.
"This is the final series where some of our athletes have the opportunity to improve their rankings, which will be useful for the 2027 competition season," he said.
The man who is often called Pristiawan explained that the seven athletes who were leaving would compete in the men's speed, women's speed, and men's lead events.
He explained that Indonesia's men's speed team is supported by Veddriq Leonardo, Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi, Aditya Tri Syahria, and Raharjati Nursamsa. Meanwhile, the Red and White team is fielding Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi and Rajiah Sallsabillah in the women's speed team.
