On October 21, the Iranian supreme leader's office stated that Khamenei would meet with the parliament speaker to discuss the conflict with the United States and Israel.

"The supreme leader is in good health," Ghalibaf said after the meeting.

In May, Mazaher Hosseini, Khamenei's chief of protocol, said the Iranian leader was recovering after sustaining back and knee injuries, as well as a laceration behind his ear, in the February US and Israeli strike that killed his father, Ali Khamenei.

Iran's Health Ministry spokesman, Hossein Kermanpour, denied that the injuries affected Khamenei's appearance.
