Israel continues military operations in Hebron West Bank for 8 days

The Israeli army continued its military operations and attacks on Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, for the eighth consecutive day until Friday.
Israeli forces carried out raids and tightened movement restrictions in the city.

According to the source, Israeli forces raided the Jilada and Ain Deir Baha neighborhoods, deploying a large number of soldiers and military vehicles. The military also forced dozens of Palestinian residents in the Ain Deir Baha neighborhood to flee their homes.

This latest development comes after the Israeli military launched its military operation on October 23, following a shooting incident that killed two Israeli soldiers in the Farsh al-Hawa area, the northwestern entrance to Hebron City.

The Israeli military later killed two Palestinians suspected of involvement in the shooting and tightened restrictions in the city.

Furthermore, local sources added that the Israeli military brought reinforcements to the vicinity of the homes of Ahmad and Hamouda al-Ja'ba, two men accused of shooting at Israeli soldiers in Farsh al-Hawa.

Israeli forces also searched two homes belonging to the al-Ja'ba family, the source said.
