Houthi military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a statement that Saudi Arabia has launched more than 2,900 air and missile strikes targeting civilian objects in Yemen over the past 100 days, noting that the attacks have left more than 562 dead and wounded, most of them women and children.
The spokesman noted that "in response to this aggression and the major escalation against our country and our people, the Yemeni armed forces carried out four qualitative military operations during the past 48 hours using a number of ballistic missiles and drones."
The first one targeted the Ministry of Defense building in the capital, Riyadh, and the hit was direct.
Second: It targeted King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and led to the disruption of air traffic at the airport.
Third: Aramco was targeted in Yanbu, and the hit was direct and led to a fire at the targeted site.
The fourth operation targeted Abha International Airport, and the hit was direct.
In a related context, Brigadier General Saree stressed that “Saudi Arabia’s threat to target Yemeni tribes will not go unpunished, and that if it is involved in carrying out this threat, the consequences will be catastrophic and unexpected for it, and we will resort to major options that we did not want to take, and we will hold it responsible for the consequences of what will result from that.”
The spokesman concluded: “We will continue our operations deep inside Saudi Arabia in defense of our country and our people, and we will continue to impose the equation of siege for siege, escalation for escalation, and targeting the Saudi enemy’s mobilizations until the aggression stops and the siege on our country is ended.”
