She said: "The basis of a healthy diet is achieving a balance between proteins, fats and carbohydrates. The general formula for maintaining health is to distribute calories as follows: 30% for proteins, 30% for fats, and 40% for carbohydrates."

She explained that these proportions may vary slightly depending on each person's metabolic characteristics and goals. The "plate method" can be used to allocate meal components, with leafy green vegetables making up 50% of the plate, high-quality proteins such as poultry, fish, meat, and legumes 25%, and complex carbohydrates such as grains and whole-grain bread 25%, with the addition of a small amount of healthy fats, such as olive oil.

The doctor pointed out that determining the appropriate proportions of these components requires a general medical check-up, the results of which will help in selecting a suitable diet. She emphasized that these results help in developing personalized dietary recommendations that take into account each individual's health characteristics and any identified risks.

She said: "The main thing to remember is that to maintain health and vitality, the energy the body gets from food must be balanced with the energy it consumes. When this balance is achieved, the body can maintain its condition without stress or strict restrictions, which forms the basis for a long and active life."
