The Indonesian jumping team ranked seventh in the equestrian event

The Indonesian equestrian team ranked seventh in the jumping team event at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, Japan, which took place at Equestrian Park.
Indonesia, which in that number was strengthened by Dirga Wira Ramadan Sahputra, Rahman Setiawan, Marco Hence Wowiling, and Arserl Rizki Brayudha, was ranked seventh with 69 penalty points.

The Saudi Arabian team won gold after their athletes recorded zero penalty points. Zero penalties means the rider and horse successfully navigated all obstacles without making a mistake.

Below Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates won the silver medal with four penalty points, while Japan won the bronze medal with the same number of points.

This result means that the equestrian sport will not be able to produce a medal for the Indonesian contingent at the 2026 Asian Games.

Indonesia ranks 13th in the 2026 Asian Games medal standings with five gold medals, seven silver medals, and 21 bronze medals.

On Thursday, the Red and White contingent added another gold medal through the women's individual compound archery event, won by Nurisa Dian Ashrifah.
