The Indonesian U15 national team celebrated their goal-fest when they defeated Burundi 6-1 in the continuation of Group G of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Festival which took place at the Hovsan Competition Complex.

This victory was a positive response from the Indonesian U15 National Team after suffering a narrow 1-2 defeat to Portugal on the same day, according to the official FIFA website.

In this tournament, the match uses an eight-on-eight (8v8) format with a duration of two halves, each 20 minutes long.

Furqon Alkatiri's team played aggressively from the start and dominated the match.

The Indonesian U15 national team took the lead just two minutes into the match. Muhammad Hariri scored the opening goal with a stunning individual effort. He spun around the ball before converting the chance.

Garuda Muda then doubled their lead in the 10th minute. This time, Rendra Maulana got on the scoresheet after finishing Lyonel Musaling's pass from the left flank.

The 2-0 lead held until halftime. Burundi began the second half, trying to increase the intensity of their attacks.

The African team managed to penetrate Indonesia's defense several times, but their efforts were thwarted by the Garuda Muda back line.
