The medical team ensures that athletes' health needs are met while in Japan

The Indonesian contingent's medical team is ensuring that the health needs of 103 athletes are met while they are in Nagoya ahead of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Para Games.
Indonesian Contingent Medical Team Leader Retno Setianing said that monitoring of the athletes' condition had been carried out since the first day of arrival in Japan, including paying attention to food intake and the needs of athletes undergoing weight adjustment.

"We saw at the restaurant yesterday that the food was complete. Since most of us are Muslim, the menu is also partly Muslim-friendly. So I don't think there's a problem," Retno said.

The Indonesian medical team consists of two doctors, three physiotherapists, and three masseurs who will accompany the athletes during preparation and the competition.

In addition to monitoring physical condition, the medical team also pays special attention to athletes who must maintain or adjust their weight according to the competition class by providing the necessary supplements.
