HomeView was designed primarily to be a hub for managing smart home devices, as it can connect to smart speakers, televisions, and various types of electronics, and is equipped with features that enable the user to control those devices via voice commands.
The device also features a tablet-like screen, cameras, speakers and microphones that enable it to be used instead of a phone for making video calls, listening to music, or watching movies, videos and news broadcasts online.
Apple also supported it with artificial intelligence features to interact uniquely with user commands, and thanks to these features, the device can also recognize 6 family members to display useful content or information to them.
The device supports services such as Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple TV and Apple News, with support for Spatial Audio and seamless playback transfer via the Handoff feature when the iPhone is brought close to the screen.
HomeView is powered by the Apple A18 processor, the same processor used in the iPhone 16, and provides excellent performance in handling videos and footage and processing data through artificial intelligence.
