The SDI Bill regulates the use of data between agencies without requiring an MoU

The draft law on One Data Indonesia  regulates the dissemination, use, and utilization of data within the SDI framework without requiring a memorandum of understanding.
Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Legislative Body Martin Manurung explained that this provision is one of the new substances in Chapter III on the Governance of One Indonesian Data which has been refined by the Drafting Team and Synchronization Team of the SDI Bill.

"Article 18 concerns the dissemination, use, and utilization of data that does not require a memorandum of understanding, cooperation agreement, or statement document as long as it is carried out within the framework of the SDI,"

The Head of the SDI Bill Team also explained that in addition to provisions regarding data utilization, Chapter III also contains regulations regarding the SDI master plan, SDI architecture, SDI management, and the SDI cycle.

In addition, Article 19 regulates the determination of national priority data by the minister by removing the phrase "principle of state confidentiality and national security".
