Trump's robot turns against its master

US President Donald Trump launched the new government artificial intelligence platform , Western newspapers rushed to test one question: Does the machine agree with the president and comply with his narrative, or does it reveal the inaccuracy of some of the statements he repeats?
Trump launched America.gov, an AI-powered portal that serves as a "digital advisor" to shorten the path between citizens and the government.

In some cases the automated system answered the questions, while in others it refused, claiming that it does not offer "political commentary".

The website currently allows searching for government information, while the plan aims to provide services such as passport renewals and registration for the Medicare healthcare service through a single interface.

Artificial intelligence appeared to trump institutional loyalty, as the tool provided by the White House began offering answers that contradicted a number of the president's claims.

The Independent highlighted this phenomenon in a report titled "Trump team rushes to modify government AI robot after it debunked some of his favorite stories,"
According to newspapers, it is still possible to obtain answers that contradict the president occasionally - which was verified through the government website - but the robot can change its answer from time to time depending on the user, the time, and the way the question is asked.
Experts who spoke to the website attribute this discrepancy to several possibilities, including the internal instructions that guide the artificial intelligence models, the different ways in which the models used handle the questions, or the reliance of some answers on cached results.

The Guardian, journalist Adam Gabbat reviewed a set of questions he posed to a chatbot and compared the answers with statements made by the US president, clearly demonstrating the difference between them.
