He says: "Loss of vision in one eye may be an early symptom of multiple sclerosis, as images become blurry, colors appear faded, and sometimes a dark spot may appear, or the person may lose part of their field of vision. Another characteristic symptom is pain behind the eye that increases with movement."

According to him, unusual sensory disturbances also warrant attention, including prolonged numbness, tingling, prickling, burning or pulling sensations in the arm, leg or one side of the body.

Other symptoms include unexplained weakness in the arm or leg, which may make carrying things, pressing buttons, climbing stairs, or walking a normal distance more difficult.

He says: “Attention should be paid to any new neurological symptom that lasts for more than a day, gradually worsens, or partially disappears and then reappears after a period of time. However, this pattern does not confirm the diagnosis, as only the doctor can determine the cause of these changes.”
