The head coach of the PBSI national mixed doubles training center, Nova Widianto, has projected Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu as the two main candidate pairs to be prepared for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Nova stated that these two pairs are currently the closest choices based on their world rankings and their potential to compete in high-level international tournaments. However, the pairings are still in the trial phase and have not been finalized.

Nova explained that Amri/Nita and Dejan/Felisha still have to prove their abilities through match results before the coaching team determines the composition that will be Indonesia's mainstay in the fight for Olympic tickets.
