Four tankers caught fire after hitting mines in the Strait of Hormuz
Iran's armed forces reported that four oil tankers caught fire and were damaged after hitting sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the four vessels violated warnings and attempted to pass through the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz, which is prohibited for passage.

The IRGC's information agency added that two other tankers had violated the route and were currently being detained.

In addition, the IRGC Air Force also said it successfully shot down an MQ-9 drone over the waters of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran claimed it was the 56th such aircraft shot down by the IRGC.

Iran has reaffirmed its stance to fight to the last drop of blood against the Zionists and the United States.

Regarding National Students' Day, also known as the Day of Struggle Against Foreign Arrogance, the IRGC said that on November 4 this year the world will witness the collapse of arrogance as it did during the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979.
