The office estimated the initial direct losses from the start of the storm at about $3 million so far, warning of the risk of dozens of cracked and dilapidated buildings collapsing as a result of being bombed during the ongoing war on the sector for three years.
The media office held the occupation fully responsible for these disastrous repercussions, due to its continued closure of the crossings and prevention of the entry of shelter materials and basic construction materials that the population urgently needs.
The international community and all UN and international organizations were urged to intervene immediately and assume their humanitarian, legal, moral and historical responsibilities to save the lives of the displaced and provide them with the means to survive and be protected.
