The 10 best basketball teams are ready to compete for the throne at the 2026 EPC

At least 10 of the best U-21 basketball teams from five provinces in Indonesia are ready to compete for the throne in the third season of the Elite Pro Championship (EPC) in 2026 at the Dewa United Arena, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

The 10 teams officially introduced at the Media Day held at the Dewa United Banten Basketball Club Headquarters are scheduled to play their first match from November 4 to December 2, 2026, featuring a total of 58 matches over 22 days of competition.

"We started with four teams in the first season, then six in the second, and now we have 10 teams from five provinces. This is certainly something we should be grateful for," said Ridi Djajakusuma, a representative of Dewa United Basketball Club, the EPC organizer.

He said that the EPC's existence from the outset was aimed at providing a varied and competitive competition space for young Indonesian players before they reach the professional level.

"For us, the EPC isn't just about the matches or finding out who wins. What's more important is how this competition provides young players with the experience to develop, cope with the pressure of competition, and prepare themselves for their professional careers," he explained.
