New year 04
“In This New Year, I Must Seek My Creator”
My fellow citizens, A new year dawns upon us—stern, majestic, and filled with the promise of destiny. The days ahead will not be shaped by chance, nor by the restless tides of circumstance, but by the resolve we carry in our hearts at this very moment. Our future stands before us like a great open gate. As we step toward it, we do so not merely as people seeking comfort or success, but as souls seeking meaning. And in this solemn hour, I speak words that have echoed through every ancient civilization, every wandering heart, every searching spirit:
And so, let me declare with the full force of my spirit: -- In this new year, I shall seek my Creator. I shall believe in the One who has fashioned all things—
the trees that stand as ancient sentinels, the earth beneath our feet, the moon that guards our nights, the sun that commands our days, the animals that roam the wild, the men and women who labor and love, the waters that sustain us, the sky and its stars, the mountains that defy time, the angels whispered of in ages past—
and every measure of beauty that fills the vast universe. I must believe in the One who made all of us—trees, earth, moon, sun, animals, men, women, water, sky, mountains, angels, and every wonder that fills this universe with beauty.”
For too long, humanity has walked forward with eyes fixed on the ground and hearts distracted by noise. Yet the truth has always stood beside us: that the world is not an accident, that life is not a coincidence, that beauty is not random.
When we behold the towering mountains, we sense strength beyond our own. When we watch the oceans move in perfect rhythm, we feel a wisdom deeper than our thoughts. When we look upon the sky, ever-changing yet everlasting, we glimpse the signature of a Creator whose artistry surpasses every canvas made by human hands. For too long, many among us have hurried forward, heads bowed, eyes fixed only on the dust of the ground. Yet above us towers a creation so magnificent, so flawlessly wrought, that no thinking mind can dismiss it as mere accident. In the steadfast mountain we see endurance. In the roaring sea we hear power. In the turning heavens we glimpse order.
And so, as we enter this year, let it not be like the years before. Let it be a turning, a remembering, a rising.
Let us search for the One who crafted every leaf, every mountain peak, every whisper of wind.
Let us open our hearts to the presence that brings order to chaos, meaning to mystery, and purpose to our days.
In the fragile leaf we find artistry. And in the face of every human being, we meet a mystery deeper than all the oceans combined.
This new year must not pass as the last did—wandering aimlessly, accepting life without searching for its Author. No! A greater task lies before us. A nobler quest summons us. We must lift our eyes. We must steady our hearts. We must seek the One who shaped this world with brilliance beyond comprehension. In this new year, we are called—not by force, but by longing—to seek the One who shaped these wonders.
Our ancestors looked to the stars, not merely for direction, but for purpose.
They saw in the moon a guardian of the night, in the sun a giver of life, in the trees the quiet breath of the earth, in water the eternal source of renewal.
They believed, as we must believe, that behind creation stands the Creator.
Let none say the journey is too difficult. Humanity has stood unshaken in times of war, famine, and darkness. Surely, then, we can stand steadfast in the pursuit of truth, purpose, and belief.
Let this be our charge:- To recognize wonder again. To honor the miracle of every sunrise. To walk with humility before the vastness of creation. To search earnestly for the mind behind the miracle, the Composer behind the symphony, the Creator behind creation.
If we do this—if we rise together with courage and sincerity—then this year shall not merely be another chapter in history. It shall be a turning point, a renewal of purpose, a restoration of the human spirit.
This is no small quest.
It is the greatest journey a human soul can undertake. And it begins not in temples or towers, but in moments of stillness—when we ask,
“Who made all this?”
“Who made me?”
“What is my purpose in the hands of my Creator?”
In seeking these answers, we do not diminish ourselves. We elevate ourselves. For a person who seeks their Creator is a person who seeks truth, humility, wisdom, and peace.
Let the new year therefore be a vow: - To look at the world with gratitude, To see the divine in every miracle of nature, To recognize the worth of every human being, To honor the gift of life by searching for the Giver of life.
Let us go forward, resolute and unafraid, into the new year. Let us seek the One who made all things beautiful.
And let us walk with the certainty that the universe is no empty void,
but a masterpiece crafted with intention, wisdom, and love.
Thank you, and may the year ahead strengthen our faith, deepen our courage, and guide us toward truth.
May this year guide us back to wonder. Back to meaning. Back to the One who made the universe so beautiful— and who placed us within it, not by accident, but with purpose.
Thank you
