The Algerian city of Oran is preparing to host the 19th Mediterranean Games, starting tomorrow, Saturday. The Mediterranean Games, a sporting event held every four years, for countries bordering the Mediterranean. Its first course was held in Alexandria in 1951.

Organizers put 32,000 tickets for sale at a price of about a dollar per ticket.  The committee decided to offer free electronic tickets to enable fans to follow the sports competitions, provided that attendance at the closing ceremony was for a fee, likely to be at the same price level as the opening ticket.
