Prince Charles receives a donation of one million pounds from the bin Laden family .. Why? The British newspaper, "Sunday Times", said that Prince Charles had received a donation of one million pounds from the family of Osama bin Laden to his charity. Officials fear that this will damage his reputation. The British newspaper "Sunday Times" revealed on Sunday that a charitable foundation owned by Charles, Prince of the British "Wales" province, had received donations from the family of Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda, classified as a terrorist in most countries of the world. The newspaper said that the Prince Charles Foundation received donations from the bin Laden family, worth $1.2 million, in 2013. She added that the aforementioned donations were made by Bakr and Shafiq bin Laden, who are half-brothers of Osama bin Laden, who was killed by US forces in 2011. According to reports, Bakr bin Laden was not involved in acts of violation of the law or any terrorist cases, and he and his family members have always disavowed the crimes and actions of Al-Qaeda. A source close to the charity also said after a thorough examination of the cases that the trustees concluded that the actions of a member of the bin Laden family should not contaminate the entire family. The newspaper pointed out that Prince Charles' advisers warned him not to accept the donations. A statement issued by Prince Charles' office confirmed the authenticity of the news regarding the charity's acceptance of the aforementioned donations. One of the prince's advisers said his reputation would be seriously damaged if his name appeared in the same sentence as the terrorist who was responsible for the deaths of 67 Britons and thousands of Americans in the 9/11 attacks.
