Opinion polls in the United States record conflicting results between Biden and Trump  An opinion poll revealed that US President Joe Biden's approval rating reached its highest level in nearly a year, while another poll reported that former President Donald Trump is ahead of Biden and his vice president.  According to an NPR-PBS poll, Biden's approval rating has risen to 46%, and the approval rating for Biden after his second State of the Union address is the highest since March 2022.  Biden's approval rating among Democrats rose from 85% in January to 88%, and his approval rating among independents rose from 32% to 36%.  His approval rating among Republicans rose from 13% last month to 15% in February, the highest level in the poll during his presidency.  The poll also found growing confidence among Democrats ahead of Biden's expected bid for re-election in 2024.  Half of all Democratic respondents said the party has the best chance of clinging to the White House with Biden as the candidate, while 45% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents said the party would have a better chance with another candidate.  In another poll conducted by Harvard University in cooperation with CAPS-Harris Poll, it was found that Trump is ahead of Biden and his deputy, Kamala Harris, in hypothetical confrontations for the 2024 elections.  And 46% of those surveyed said they would vote for Trump if the 2024 election were held today, compared to 41% who said they would support Biden, while 13% said they were not sure of their choice yet or did not know.
