Rawalpindi : It has been decided to indict Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case. According to media reports, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will be charged on October 17 under the Official Secrets Act in the cipher case. Copies of the challan have been provided to both of them.
It has been reported that the Cipher case related to Special Secret Act was heard in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail , Special Court Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain conducted the hearing , Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were also present at the hearing . K's lawyers Shirafazl Marwat, Naeem Haider Panjotha were also allowed to enter Adiala Jail .

China announces extension of investigation into Taiwan’s trade barriers until the day before next year’s presidential election
China's Ministry of Commerce decided in April to launch a trade barrier investigation into Taiwan's trade restrictions on mainland China. The Ministry of Commerce issued a statement today stating that in view of the complexity , it decided to extend the investigation period by three months to January 12 , 2024 .
The Ministry of Commerce of China issued a message on the 9th stating that in accordance with the provisions of the "Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China" and the Ministry of Commerce's "Investigation Rules on Foreign Trade Barriers", on April 12 , 2023 , the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 11 of 2023 , deciding to investigate Taiwan's The region conducts a trade barrier investigation into mainland China’s trade restrictions. However, in view of the complexity , in accordance with Article 32 of the "Foreign Trade Barriers Investigation Rules" , the Ministry of Commerce decided to extend the investigation period of this case by three months, that is, the deadline for the investigation of this case is January 12 , 2024 .
China's Ministry of Commerce originally announced that a total of 2,455 Taiwanese products were affected by the investigation of trade barriers. This number has been increased to 2,509 after preliminary investigation , covering agricultural products, minerals, chemical products, textiles, etc.
The original investigation period is before October 12 , 2023 , but under special circumstances it can be extended to January 12 , 2024 , which is the day before Taiwan’s presidential election vote.
