Reveal the main causes of nosebleeds

According to Dr. Igor Fedyaskin, internal medicine specialist, dryness of the nasal mucosa can be a cause of bleeding.

The doctor indicated in an interview with Russian channel that this is linked to the appearance of microscopic cracks in the nasal cavity, and this usually occurs in the cold season in areas with a dry climate. Nosebleeds can also be linked to the development of various diseases.

According to him, nosebleeds are normal for patients suffering from rhinitis and sinusitis. This is due to disturbance of blood flow in the blood vessels. High blood pressure can also be a cause of nosebleeds.

The doctor explains this because high arterial blood pressure can put additional pressure on the blood vessels in the nose, which may lead to damage and bleeding.

The doctor continues, and the other reason is disorders related to blood clotting, to which hemophilia (hereditary bleeding) and thrombocytopenia are attributed. According to him, in this case the period of bleeding is prolonged. It may also be associated with taking medications such as anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents.

A doctor explains why vitamins should not be taken with tea

Excessive consumption of tea can lead to negative health effects on the digestive system, dehydration in the body, and a feeling of insomnia.

Endocrinologist Dr. Yulia Verina says in an interview with Russian channel: “Excessive consumption of tea can cause malfunctions in the stomach and intestines. Tannin, which is one of the main components of tea, can negatively affect the nutritional environment of the stomach, causing discomfort and even a feeling of Pain after eating.

According to her, tea helps excrete fluids from the body and not compensate for its deficiency. Therefore, the result of excessive consumption of tea may cause dehydration of the body because it is a diuretic, and as a result, the general condition worsens and other negative consequences occur.

She says: “One of the well-known properties of black tea is that it contains caffeine, which can cause stress and insomnia in some people. Therefore, if a person tends to be nervous or suffers from sleep problems, he should not drink this drink excessively.”

In addition, vitamins should not be taken with tea. Because the tannin compound found in tea interacts with it and forms insoluble compounds that are deposited in the body, which greatly reduces the effectiveness of these vitamins.

She says: “Tea neutralizes the effectiveness of oral contraceptives, forms iron compounds that precipitate, and prevents the absorption of medications. However, in return, the effect of antidepressants is enhanced when taken with tea, which may lead to stress and insomnia.”
