Tupperware officially stops business activities in Indonesia.

Food and beverage storage brand Tupperware has officially stopped its business activities in Indonesia after 33 years of the United States (US) company doing business in the country.

"33 years is not a short time. In that time, Tupperware has become part of the kitchen, dining table, and precious moments of Indonesian families," said management as written in the official Instagram post of Tupperware Indonesia quoted in Jakarta, Sunday.

In the post, the company stated that the reason for stopping business in Indonesia was the decision of the parent company which had decided to stop activities in most countries.

"This decision is part of the company's global steps," Tupperware wrote.

The termination of business operations has been carried out since January 31, 2025.

Furthermore, Tupperware expressed its gratitude to the Indonesian people for being part of the company's business journey.

"These 33 years of memories will always be part of our beautiful story. Thank you for making Tupperware more than just a product, you have made it part of a family, moments, and meaningful stories," said Tupperware.
