Turkish Foreign Ministry sources reported on Wednesday that Fidan will meet with senior Ukrainian officials, most notably President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmykal.
The Turkish Foreign Minister is also scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sepah, during his two-day visit.
Fidan will also meet with Presidential Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak and Defense Minister Rustam Umarov, who led the Ukrainian delegation to direct negotiations with Russia in Istanbul on May 16.
Sources indicated that the talks will address steps to strengthen relations between Türkiye and Ukraine, particularly in the areas of trade, energy, defense, and security.
Fidan will affirm Türkiye's support for Ukraine's territorial integrity. He will also stress the need to end the war between Russia and Ukraine diplomatically, while reaffirming Türkiye's readiness to host the next round of peace negotiations.
The Turkish minister will also highlight the importance of ensuring the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, according to the same sources. He will also indicate Türkiye's willingness to play a role in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Fidan, the leader of the Crimean Tatars, will meet with Ukrainian MP Mustafa Karamoglu.
Fidan is expected to highlight the growing negative impacts of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the need to end it through diplomacy, and the need to achieve a just and lasting peace.
He will express Türkiye's readiness to do what it can, as it has done to date, and to host the next round of negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow in this regard.
Fidan visited Russia last Monday and Tuesday, during which he met with President Vladimir Putin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and other officials.
On May 15 and 16, Istanbul hosted peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, which concluded with an agreement to exchange 2,000 prisoners between the two countries.
