Attorney General's Office examines former Sritex CEO Iwan Lukminto as witness.

The Attorney General's Office stated that it is examining former President Director of PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex) Iwan Setiawan Lukminto as a witness related to the alleged corruption case of bank credit provision to PT Sritex.

"The person concerned is being examined intensively as a witness by investigators," said Head of the Attorney General's Office's Legal Information Center Harli Siregar.

He said the examination of former Sritex CEO Iwan Setiawan Lukminto was to investigate the alleged corruption case of credit from several banks to PT Sritex with a value of around IDR 3.6 trillion.

"If I'm not mistaken, we are handling four banks that provided credit to this company and this is currently being investigated by investigators. Of course, we will see what the investigators' stance is in the future," he said.

Harli also revealed that Iwan Setiawan Lukminto was arrested at his residence in Solo, Central Java, on Tuesday (20/5) at midnight.
