Vice President to Minister of Youth and Sports attend "fun football" PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah





Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo attended the fun football activity held by the Muhammadiyah Youth Central Leadership at the ABC Football Field, Senayan.

As stated in the statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday, this activity is part of a series of events to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the Muhammadiyah Youth, entitled "Youth Statesmen, Totality for Greater Indonesia".

Vice President Gibran joined a team with a number of young figures, including Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Aminuddin Ma'ruf, Deputy Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers and General Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Youth Dzulfikar Ahmad Tawalla, Secretary General of Muhammadiyah Youth Najih Prastiyo, and Treasurer General of Muhammadiyah Youth Machendra Setya Atmaja.

This team is also strengthened by several leaders of interfaith youth organizations, such as GAMKI General Chair Sahat Sinurat and Peradah Secretary General Pandu Winata.

In addition, former Indonesian National Team players Cristian Gonzáles and Maman Abdurahman add strength to the team.

Meanwhile, their opponents, namely the Muhammadiyah Youth Team, fielded the best formation from the ranks of the Central Leadership, including Gusman Fahrizal, Nur Sigit Nugroho, Radius Setiawan, Abdul Musawir Yahya, Elli Oscar, Bagus Ardeni, Ilham Pratama, Amiruddin Awalin, Infa Wilindaya, Eko Andriyanto, and Muh. Syaltut.

In the match which took place in two halves of 30 minutes each, both teams exchanged attacks in a friendly atmosphere but still maintained fighting spirit and sportsmanship.

Not only is this activity a means of fostering friendship, it also reinforces the message that Indonesian youth can be pioneers of unity and tolerance in fun ways.

At the end of the match, the Vice President Team managed to defeat the Muhammadiyah Youth Team with a score of 6-3. Gibran managed to score one opening goal for his team's victory.
