Politician and Chairman of Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives , Mukhamad Misbakhun, was elected as the General Chairman of the Central National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Self-Reliant Employees Organization for the 2025–2030 period, which is a wing organization of the Golkar Party.
Misbakhun was elected as general chairman through the XII SOKSI National Conference (Munas) in Jakarta (20/5). The process of electing the SOKSI general chairman went smoothly because Misbakhun was elected by acclamation, replacing the previous general chairman, Achmadi Noor Supit.
"I accept it with bismillah, hoping for Allah's help, and with the support of SOKSI cadres throughout Indonesia," said Misbakhun in a written statement received.
In addition to electing the general chairman, the XII SOKSI National Conference also appointed a formator team led by Misbakhun to form the management. He and the formator team then immediately held an inaugural meeting to elect and appoint the SOKSI Advisory Board, Honorary Board, Advisory Board, and Expert Board.
