Deputy Director of the Inclusive and Green Finance Economics Department of Bank Indonesia (BI) Sri Noerhidajati stated that her party is preparing to strengthen the inclusive business model for subsistence groups with a gender lens or perspective.
He said that this effort was a form of support from his party for the empowerment of MSMEs, especially women's MSMEs.
"In 2025, BI will also prepare a strengthening of the inclusive financial economic business model for subsistence groups by strengthening the gender lens," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday.
Subsistence groups are low-income community groups who have the potential to develop businesses to improve their welfare.
Sri Noerhidajati said that according to a UN Women study, if more women work, the economy will grow stronger globally because women's economic empowerment contributes directly to increasing economic diversification and income equality.
