Bin Zayed said, "We are planning investments with the United States worth $1.4 trillion over the next 10 years," stressing his country's commitment to strengthening its partnership and friendship with Washington and working together to achieve stability in the region and the world.
The Emirates News Agency reported that the talks addressed opportunities to expand cooperation in areas such as investment, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and industry, in addition to regional developments, particularly efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.
The UAE President stressed the need to advance a political process that achieves a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution. He and Trump also announced the launch of a "1-gigawatt artificial intelligence data center" within a joint complex between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Bin Zayed awarded his American counterpart the Sheikh Zayed Medal, while Trump expressed his happiness with the growing relations, saying they "will only get better and stronger."
Trump's current visit is the first by a US president to the UAE since George W. Bush in 2008. It is part of a Gulf tour that includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, which began Tuesday and concludes Friday.
The two sides are scheduled to sign agreements covering defense, artificial intelligence, and trade. Trump also visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque accompanied by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed.
