Maung Lwin's only goal sees ASEAN All Stars beat Man United





 ASEAN All Stars won 1-0 over Manchester United (MU) through Maung Maung Lwin's only goal in a friendly match at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

MU dominated the match with 65 percent possession, but they had difficulty breaking through the goal of the ASEAN All Stars team coached by coach Kim Sang-sik.

In the 33rd minute, Kabbie Mainoo launched an attack with a shot from long range, but it was still saved by goalkeeper Patiwat Khammai.

Four minutes later, the 20-year-old had a golden opportunity. This time, his shot in front of goal was blocked by ASEAN All Stars defender Harrison Delbridge.

In the dying minutes of the second half, Patrick Dorgu tried his luck with a low shot, but it was easily saved by Khammai. The first half ended goalless at 0-0.

Entering the second half, MU made changes, including bringing in Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo. However, the presence of the three players still did not change the Red Devils' game much.

Instead, it was ASEAN All Stars who were able to break the deadlock in the 71st minute through substitute Maung Maung Lwin. The player who came on for Bounphachan Bounkong in the 52nd minute scored after utilizing a through ball from fellow substitute Adrian Segecic.

In the rest of the match, MU continued to attack the ASEAN All Stars defense. However, it always ended in failure. The final score of 1-0 remained for the victory of ASEAN All Stars.

Two Indonesian players, Kakang Rudianto and Malik Risaldi, entered the match in the second half. Kakang entered in the 68th minute, while Malik entered in the 83rd minute.
