Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin asked all participants of the Indonesian Development Driving Bachelor (SPPI) Female to dedicate themselves to serving the nation and state.
Sjafrie said this during his visit to the Air Force Academy (AAU), Yogyakarta to review the military education being carried out by SPPI Putri, Tuesday.
"You need to be sincere and have the intention to fulfill the call of the state, dedicate yourselves with full dedication," said Sjafrie in an official press release from the Ministry of Defense received by Antara.
Sjafrie assessed that dedication was necessary so that SPPI Putri could provide a positive impact on the development and progress of the nation, especially in the military and food security world.
He also explained that SPPI education is not aimed at producing TNI soldiers, but rather preparing reserve components (komcad) that are ready to support the country when needed, such as in handling disasters or threats to sovereignty.
