Clinical psychologist who graduated from the University of Indonesia, Adityana Kasandravati Putranto, emphasized the importance of the role of parents in equipping children so that they do not get trapped in technological dependency which can hinder their social relationships, both with parents and peers.
The development of technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), puts children at risk of dependence on it which can reduce their social interactions. Several strategies can be applied so that the use of technology does not reduce children's social interactions with their environment.
"To prevent AI from limiting children's interactions, both with parents and friends, parents can take several strategic steps," Adityana said when contacted.
